making decisions about the care best suited to your needs. How Do I Receive Home Health
Care
Home
health care is provided by orders from your physician to the home health
agency, when you have a medical need that requires skilled services.
Such as, physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, nursing
care, and medical social services. Services are provided in your home or
if you are living in an Assisted living program, or Board and Care home.
Who Pays
Home
health is covered by your Medicare, Medi-cal, or some private insurance
as well as managed care and HMO’s. Care is provided on a temporary and
part time bases. The home health care you receive will be based upon the
orders requested by your physician, case manager, or healthcare
